The morning of your wedding should be a calm and peaceful time, spent surrounded by the people you love and cherish most. By this time, everything should be in place and all that's left is to say I DO! Realistically, we know most brides and grooms will still be a bit nervous and anxious to get the day going, so we’ve listed out some tips for the morning of your wedding on Martha’s Vineyard. 2.Make sure someone in your party is in charge of the morning caffeine. Whether you run on coffee or tea, you’ll want to have all your coffee orders ready, written down, or on someone’s phone as a note, so they can quickly grab the goods a local coffee shop like Rosewater MarketEspresso Love, or Mocha Motts. Eco-friendly tip: Consider getting personalized reusable coffee travel mugs for this, plus they make great gifts for your bridal party.

3.Surround yourself with flowers. Whether you’re getting dressed in a hotel room or in a rented space, bringing in fresh flowers will make the space feel more relaxed and beautiful. Plus, if you’re photographing the get ready process, this added touch will soften and accentuate your shots. Order a gorgeous arrangement or a couple small ones from Morrice FloristDonaroma’s Nursery, or any other local Island flower supplier. Even better? There are a few spas on Island that offer it, like Revive Spa in Vineyard Haven, and just a ten minute session can help ease all tension! Treat yourself and your bridesmaids, they’ll love it too.

7.Don’t skip breakfast or lunch. Skipping a meal might sound like a good idea before getting into a fitted wedding dress, but nothing is worse than feeling dizzy or hungry during your big day. Whether you set up a catered lunch that comes to you while you get ready, or go all out and secure a private chef to cook up snacks throughout the day, eating enough is essential!
